The Gut–Brain Connection in Mental Health & Addiction • 2.0 CEs approved for HIAMFT, NASW-HI, & CAMFT This training introduces the emerging science of the gut–brain axis and its relevance for mood, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. We’ll explore how sleep, nutrition, inflammation, and stress interact, and offer clinically appropriate ways to integrate psychoeducation and simple lifestyle strategies into treatment without stepping outside scope of practice.
