Golden Years in Focus Training: Working With Older Adults • 2.0 CEs approved for HIAMFT, NASW-HI, & CAMFT This training centers on understanding and effectively serving older adults in clinical settings. We’ll explore age-related medical and cognitive changes, grief and loss, role transitions (retirement, caregiving, grandparenting), social isolation, and cultural views on aging. Clinicians will learn practical strategies for engagement, assessment, communication, and treatment planning that honor dignity, autonomy, and the unique strengths and vulnerabilities of this population.
