Co-Parenting Education: Supporting Families Through Transition


This 4-week program provides parents with practical tools and strategies to navigate co-parenting after separation or divorce. In a supportive group setting, participants will explore effective communication, conflict management, and child-centered decision making. Designed for parents seeking to strengthen collaboration, reduce stress, and prioritize their children’s well-being, this dynamic program also meets common court-ordered education requirements. This will be led by two licensed therapists with expertise in family and relational dynamics. This 6-hour program is designed for co-parents who were referred for:


  • Court or legal co-parenting education requirements

  • Personal insight or prevention


Learning Objectives

  • Identify child-focused approaches to shared parenting

  • Practice respectful communication and boundary setting with co-parents

  • Recognize the impact of parental conflict on children’s emotional health

  • Apply problem-solving skills to reduce conflict and improve cooperation

  • Create individualized action steps to support smoother family transitions
